New Universal Football
New Universal Football is similar to football.
The basic type of game
Basically two teams play against each other.
Each team starts with 11 players, one of them starts as a goalkeeper.
The net game duration
A game lasts a maximum of 2 x 45 minutes (two halves).
The running time is stopped immediately when the game is interrupted.
The time runs out in countdown mode.
There is no injury time.
The kick-off time
Each game is kicked off on a Saturday at 3:30 p.m. local time.
The gross playing time
A game lasts a maximum of 7 days gross.
At the latest on the following Saturday at 3:30 p.m. local time
the game ends.
Round trip / home and away game
From a team perspective, there is exactly 14 days between
the kick-off of the home game and the kick-off of the away game.
The winners of rounds 1 to 7 are determined after a maximum of 21 days.
There is no "more away goals"-regulation.
There is no extension.
There is no 11m shoot out.
In the event of a tie after the first and second leg, the NUFA customer decides.

The winner after the end of a round is...
the team that scored at least 1 goal more than the opponent,
or…
the team that NUFA customers vote for.
Immediate winner is...
a team, if it was at most 9 goals and
an opponent's player dies on the court,
or…
a team leading with 10 goals or more and
an own player dies on the court.
The player in whom the doctors first determine death counts.
If two players from each team die at the same time,
they will be replaced and the game will go from 11 to 11.
If exactly the same, but opposite situation occurs in the second leg,
wins the team for which the NUFA customers vote.
The player(s)
Any (male) player whose age is due to
a carpal exam was found to be at least 16 years old,
is eligible to play and can be committed by any national NUFA association.
Players do not have to be a national
of the country they are fighting for.
The NUF rules
The NUF rules are similar to football.
The playing field
The playing field is exactly 100 m long.
The playing field is exactly 70 m wide.
It is played on natural grass.
The field is framed by four white, exactly √250 cm wide lines.
They belong to the field.
They are exactly 15 m from the first rows of seats for spectators.
The long lines are called the outer line, the shorter goal line.
On each of the two goal lines there is a goal in the middle.
Goals must be made of ivory-like material.
Goals have a crossbar that connects the two posts.
All three are round in cross section.
The diameter of the slat and post
is exactly √250 cm.
The clear dimension between the posts
is exactly 1 + √40 m.
The clear dimension between slat and floor
is exactly 1 + √2 m.
Goals have no nets.
The playing field has four corners.
The field has no flags.
In the middle of an imaginary diagonal between two opposite corners
there is the kick-off point.
The diameter of the kick-off point
is exactly 2 x √250 cm.
Exactly 20 m away from each goal line in the direction of the kick-off point,
a penalty line runs parallel to the goal lines,
which is exactly √250 cm wide and closes the penalty area.
The goal, penalty and parts of the outer lines limit the two penalty areas.
The ball
It is played with 1 / ONE (!!!) spherical ball.
The upper material must be made from kangaroo leather.
The circumference must be 69 centimeters.
At the start of the game, the weight must not exceed 444 grams.
The ball must be filled with an overpressure of 1 bar.
Both coaches must bring patch utensils to the game.
There are no ball boys (in the stadium).
The clothing
The play clothing consists of jersey, shorts,
support stockings and screw-studded shoes.
Minimum length of the studs: 14 cm.
The field players jersey must not be made entirely of the colors
black, white or any neon colors.
All other color combinations are allowed.
Exception: the player with the number 6 of the home team
wears a neon-red jersey, the away team player a neon yellow jersey.
The shorts must be plain.
The stockings must be plain.
The screw-studded shoes are made out
of kangaroo leather made and 100% black.
A team's outer clothing is visible
numbered from 1 to 22.
The starting eleven
Each coach declares up to 1 hour before the kick-off
his starting eleven (10 field players and a goalkeeper) and
a field player in the starting eleven as captain.
Substitution
The coach can change players as often as he likes during the game.
Substituted players may be substituted again.
The game doesn't have to be interrupted
the changes can be made on the fly.
The goalkeeper
Only the goalkeeper may wear gloves.
His jersey must be neon.
The player with the number 6
Each coach has to nominate a player with the number 6 per game.
He can be in the starting eleven or be substituted on and off.
The coach can nominate a different player with the number 6 in each game.
The player with the number 6 has a red card bonus in every game.
If he receives the first red card from NUFA customers, he can continue playing.
If he receives the second red card in the course of the game,
he is IMMEDIATELY excluded from the competition.

The captain
The captain must wear a neon yellow NUFA armband
with the black dot(s) visibly on the upper arm.
The number of dots results from the number of captain nominations
in the running competition.
The captain buttons (CB)
The captain receives at the NUFA ceremony
a bracelet from a NUFA official
including a red and a green button.
He must wear this bracelet on his body during the game.
The captain sends complaints to the NUFA broadcasting center at the push of a button > Interruptions.
The trainer has to take care of any necessary replacement batteries.
The captain can play the CB exactly 20 times per half
to interrupt the game at the push of a red button if he thinks
that there is a rule violation.

The captain can also press the green button
to agree to a complaint from the opposing captain.
Then he receives an additional red button press.
In the event of a complaint, both captains press the red button,
the NUFA customers decide.

The referees
There are no referees (on the field / in the stadium).
Before kick-off
The home team has always the side choice,
the away team's first to kick-off.
Kick-off
A kick-off occurs at the beginning of each half and
for a goal (for the team that had to accept a goal).
Before the kick-off, the players of the defending team must
stay in their penalty area.
The players of the offending team may stand anywhere on the field,
a player has to kick-off the ball.
The signal for a trigger is given by a 10 sec countdown and
a siren beep at "0" via video cubes and speakers.
Interruptions
The game is paused and / or the time is stopped if...
a) the ball is out of the field;
b) the goalkeeper holds the ball in his hands;
c) the ball has crossed the goal line;
d) the captain of a team presses his red button.
The game / time starts again as soon as a player plays the ball in accordance with the rules.
The shot-in
Instead of a throw-in (as in ordinary football) there is
a shot-in (like a free kick) from the outside line at the point,
where the ball crossed the outline.
By the decision ball stilll "in" or already "out"
(>) video technology is used.
When is a goal a goal?
A possible goal is when the ball has fully
crossed the goal line between the posts and below the crossbar.
No video technology comes into play here.
If the captain of the defending team presses the green button,
the goal counts. The game continues with a kick-off.
If the captain of the defending team presses the red button,
NUFA customers decide after 180 seconds, unless
the captain of the attacking team admits (green button press),
that the ball was not in the goal.
The game continues with a kick or corner.
When and where can a wall be put up?
For shot-ins, free and penalty kicks within the penalty area,
the defending team can put up a wall
which must be at least 10 m (11 male steps) away from the lying ball.
The other players on the defending team must be also
10 m from the lying ball.
For shot-ins, free and penalty kicks outside the penalty area,
the defending players must be 3 male steps away from the ball.
When is a player offside?
Never! It is played without an offside.
When is there a handball?
Whenever the ball touches a player's hand.

Whenever the stadium video cube flashes yellow.

The game continues with a shot-in.
The break
At the end of the first half
an exactly 30 minute break takes place
visible as a countdown on the stadium video cube.
When the kick-off siren sounds, the home team has to kick-off
and plays on the other goal.
The end of the game
At the end of the second half, the final siren sounds,
after exactly seven days at the latest.
CB use / rule violations
The captains of the teams have an outstanding position and
possibly crucial task to decide alone whether to interrupt the game.
They can do this by pressing the red button.
CB use
Detects the captain of a team during the game
a rule violation, he can press the red button:
The game is interrupted, the time is stopped.
The captain of the opposing team can now
a) press his green button.
In doing so, he admits his team's violation of the rules,
the game comes with the appropriate penalty
(e.g. free kick) continued, time is running again,
or
b) press his red button.
The decision now is made by NUFA customers.
After 180 seconds the decision is made
the game comes with the appropriate penalty
(e.g. penalty) continued.

For every green push of a button, a captain receives an additional
red button push on his additional account,
which he can use at any time during the current game.
Rule violations
The rule violations are similar to those of ordinary soccer.
Foul
A possible foul is given when a captain presses the red button.
If the opposing captain also presses the red button,
the NUFA customers decide after 180 sec.

A possible handball is when a captain presses the red button.

always the yellow card, even if his captain admits the handball.
The game continues with a free kick.
Foul / handball in the penalty area
A possible foul / handball in the penalty area exists when a captain presses the red button.
If the opposing captain also presses the red button,
the NUFA customers decide after 180 sec.

If the NUFA customers decide on foul in the penalty area,
the player playing foul always receives the yellow card
(even if his captain admits the foul).
If NUFA customers decide on handball in the penalty area,
the hand-playing player always receives the yellow card
(even if his captain admits the handball).
The game continues with a penalty kick without a wall.
After that the game continues with kick-off or goalkeeper kick.
Assault and provocation to an assault
A possible assault occurs when a captain presses the red button.
If the opposing captain also presses the red button,
the NUFA customers decide after 180 sec.

always the red card (even if his captain admits the assault).
The same applies to a provocation by a player that leads to an assault.
Diving
A possible diving is when a captain presses the red button.
If the opposing captain also presses the red button,
the NUFA customers decide after 180 sec.

always the yellow card (even if his captain admits the diving).
The game continues with a free kick.
Diving with simulated pain ("theatrical")
A possible diving with simulated pain is when a captain presses the red button.
If the opposing captain also presses the red button,
the NUFA customers decide after 180 sec.

If NUFA customers decide to diving with simulated pain,
the diving player always receives the white card with a red cross.
The game continues with a free kick.
The yellow card(s)
A player is immediately excluded from the ongoing competition,
as soon as he receives the 10th yellow card.
The player has to leave the field, there is no substitute for him,
his team has to continue playing decimated.
A player can receive more than one yellow card per game.
After receiving the fifth yellow card, the player must leave the field,
there is no substitute for him, his team has to continue playing decimated.
The player misses the next game of the ongoing competition.
A yellow-red card...
there is not any.
The red card
A player is immediately excluded from the game in progress,
as soon as he receives a red card.
The player has to leave the field, there is no substitute for him,
his team has to continue playing decimated.
The player misses the next three games of the competition.
A player is immediately excluded from the ongoing competition,
as soon as he receives the second red card in the current competition.
The player has to leave the field, there is no substitute for him,
his team has to continue playing decimated.
The player is blocked for the next three games of an upcoming competition.
The white card with a red cross
If a player receives the white card with a red cross,
he has to be strapped to a stretcher by paramedics
carried from the field to the mobile hospital.
There he is examined in detail by a psychiatrist and other doctors.
In terms of the health of the player, he becomes
retained at least 24 hours for observation in the hospital.
As soon as the doctors give "green light" after this 24-hour protection lock has expired,
the player may return to the current game and
be used in the further course of the competition.
